Topsafe London and ILoveDust combined efforts to animate this short video of Horfe’s quirky drawings. Excellent!

There is a ton of anticipation for Wes Anderson's return to real actors with his newest film, Moonrise Kingdom, and Anderson regular Bill Murray hosts a tour (yes, you can tour films now, especially the big-budget arty ones like a Wes Anderson film) of Moonrise Kingdom. That's right, he just sort of talks the film out to you. We like it. We might take that idea and have Robert Williams talk out each issue...

Universal Pictures, the studio behind the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman, announced a call for artists to submit work inspired by the film. The artwork submitted for the exhibition can be in any medium, and the winner will have his or her piece displayed in a pop-up gallery alongside the work of a prominent LA artist, as well as pieces by three-time Oscar-winner Colleen Atwood (costume designer on the film). Entrants must be 18 years of age, and the work submitted must not include any recognizable likenesses of the film’s stars.

Look down the list of "summer blockbusters" each year, and you see a lot of studios just dialing in hundreds of millions of $$s praying that something sticks. Most of the time, we get some Green Lantern nonsense, but occasionally we get something that appears to have a good thing going for it. We are going to assume that Christopher Nolan's final chapter of his Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, will be entertaining enough and worth some popcorn and a jumbo soda pop, based off the official trailer...

Few photographers create the cinematic scenery that Alex Prager depicts in her work. Part film noir, part Wizard of Oz circa 2025, Prager has taken an aesthetic and made it one of the most recognizable in the world of contemporary photography. That is hard to do in this day and age. Right now, her Compulsion series is on simultaneous display at three galleries: Michael Hoppen Gallery, London until May 26, at New York’s Yancey Richardson Gallery until May 19, and M+B Gallery, LA until May 12.

Rubber Bordello is a vintage inspired erotic short film by Soma Snakeoil. By far one of the cutest and sexiest little kinky rubber shorts ever, set in an adorable little vintage whorehouse where 'Politicians, socialites and scoundrels can all find satisfaction in the same house of ill repute.' Music by the talented Fat Mike. Enjoy.

Sexy, bizarre and creepily fitting erotic homage to the one and only Mr. Lynch. Set to the music of David Lynch's “I know”, this provocative little short film was created by French director Carrementdard for a video competition on Genero TV. Enjoy.
