A few days ago, we told you that Juxtapoz Magazine was selected to be one of the five ambassadors of Fresh Perspectives – a new transmedia art project initiated by Lexus to promote their newly launched Hybrid CT 200. We also showed you Part 1 of artist Augustine Kofie's participation in the project, and today we have another piece with Kofie, speaking about "Hands-On Empowerment." Watch after the jump . . .

Miss Van, who currently is celebrating a solo show at Magda Danysz in Paris, is featured in this video filmed for SAFEWALLS Madrid 2011, alongside fellow artists Nuria Mora and Ricardo Cavolo. As you may know, SAFEWALLS pairs up with three cutting-edge artists to create original art posters inspired by a Cirque du Soleil show. Watch after the jump . . .

Juxtapoz spent an afternoon this past Fall at the Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco, and put a camera in the face of the most anticpated performers of the 2-day feastival, South Africa's art-hip-hop group, Die Antwoord. We had so much footage of our time with the group that we broke it up into 3 parts. Watch part 1 after the jump . . .

Longtime Juxtapoz contributors, Roger Gastman and Caleb Neelon, are set to release their massive (seriously, you can break someone's hand with that thing) vast, and important book, The History of American Graffiti, and PBS NewsHour just did a nice segment on the book with the two authors. Okay, maybe this is the best thing we have seen today. The cooperative photography agency Magnum Photos and Leica, the McCartney and Lennon of all that is good about photography, just released this new video titled Leica and Magnum: Past Present Future, featuring some historical and culture defining photographs and voice-over commentary from Alice George, former head of Magnum. A good way to start your morning off, a video that was just posted called "25 Years of Pixar Animation," celebrating, you guessed correctly, 25 years of Pixar. You tend to forget just how many iconic films and characters have come out of the Emeryville, California animation studio. Watch after the jump . . .

Felipe Lima, who shot some of the great Arkitip videos over the past few years, directed this piece, Rodarte: States of Matter, for the MOCA and their exhibition of the same name, the first West Coast solo exhibition of the work of fashion and costume designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte. As you may know, they did the costume design for the Academy Award-winning, Black Swan. More after the jump . . .

James Jean just opened a solo exhibition, Rebus, at Martha Otero Gallery. After spending over a year working on a body of work, James found fantastic new ways to procrastinate and inspire himself when he needed a break. He let us in on a few tips recently in his Downtown Los Angeles studio, and we recorded them for you to practice at home. Watch after the jump . .

Italian street artist BLU, who has made some of the most impressvie and genre defining timelapse videos, just released two new wall loops from an abandoned factory in Italy. (Okay, we assume Italy). As BLU writes, "trying some ideas for the next animation...". We look forward to whatever and whenever that is. Watch after the jump . . .

First, we are very excited that Don Cheadle has taken on this Untitled Miles Davis Biopic, set to be released in 2013. So we have to wait a minute. But graphic designer, Heath Killen, has created this movie poster for the film. Not sure if it's an official movie poster, but great nonetheless. Full view after the jump . . .
