Through 14 September, EYE presents a major exhibition focusing on director David Cronenberg, who acquired cult status with his idiosyncratic films about the relationship between body, mind, technology and mass media. The exhibition explores Cronenberg’s world through the main themes of his films: the physical and psychological transformation of his protagonists.

Last night, Juxtapoz and the Musuem of Modern Art closed the All the Wrong Art: Juxtapoz Magazine on Film series. Ending the week-long event was a screening of "Dirty Hands: The Art and Crimes of David Choe." In a nice compliment, Ron English was in discussion with Choe and director, Harry Kim, after the show. From Super Bowl Sunday to Modern Monday at the MoMA fans braved freezing temperatures, well, bypassed freezing temperatures, to duck into climate-controlled caves to watch their heroes. In my case it was the February 7th New York premiere of Mr. Bitchin which kicked off MoMA’s annual documentary month and the film series, All the Wrong Art: Juxtapoz Magazine on Film.
