FIFTY24SF Gallery had two booths at the SF Fine Art Fair this past weekend in San Francisco, and they curated two legends of graffiti and stickers, MQ and PEZ, to create an installation wall and paint a van in front of the Fort Mason Center in SF.

Graffiti artist, photographer, and train-hopping vagabound, Swampy, will be settling into San Francisco's FIFTY24SF Gallery for a special week-long exhibition/installation titled, In My Room. We have been fans of Swampy's photography and Flickr account for quite some time, as he captures the train culture in his scenic, and often beautiful photographs.

Besides being a talented fine artist based in San Francisco, Jason Jagel has built a dedicated body of work creating imagery surrounding underground hip-hop icons, Madlib and MF Doom. The latter work has found its way in a deluxe reissue of the classic MF Doom album Operation Doomsday. . .

Johnny "KMNDZ" Rodriguez, an artist we met while setting up the Juxtapoz 15th Anniversary show in Los Angeles back in 2009, will be showing at San Francisco's FIFTY24SF Gallery this Thursday, April 7, a solo show titled, The Heaviest. "KMNDZ" created a body of work featuring wood and found paper, constructed in a variety of panel works. More after the jump . . .

FIFTY24SF Gallery in San Francisco will be hosting Augustus Thompson's first solo show, "One Man," opening tonight, Friday, March 11th. The San Francisco-based painter, whom we visited with earlier this month, will be presenting 4 large wood panel, multiple watercolor paintings, and on-site sculpture. We were recently introduced to Augustus Thompson's work while looking at magazines at the fantastic San Francisco surf store and art gallery, Mollusk. Just your friendly neighborhood reminder that two great shows are going on tonight on opposite ends of the coast: Tiffany Bozic's Confiding To Strangers at NYC's Joshua Liner Gallery (which has probably started by now, so get moving), and Ericailcane's We Were Living In the Woods at San Francsico's FIFTY24SF Gallery.
