Supreme has always done a stellar job with their seasonal art collaborations, whether it be Damien Hirst, Murakami, Terry Richardson, Richard Prince, and KAWS, to name a few. This season they go right to the thick of the NYC downtown scene, with a special capsule collection featuring the late and influential Jean-Michel Basquiat. Supreme and the Basquiat Estate collaborating on a two oxford shirts, a long sleeve tee, a few short sleeves, a hoodie, and a M-65 Cassius Clay jacket.

In our October issue, out now on newsstands, we documented our recent trip to the Filson Factory in Seattle, where the great team took us around the factory floor and showed us how their heritage and artisan bags are constructed. We also got some sneak peeks into their new Seattle Life collection, some classic apparel and Filson advertising, and of course, some of the most beautifully made luggage and day bags being created today. Or 100 years ago.

A few weeks ago, Juxtapoz visited the Northwest, settling in Seattle to explore the various companies and artists that live in probably the most beautiful city a Sound could offer. One of the places we have been intrigued by over the years is Ebbets Field Flannels, a company born out of a love of sports, but to us, a company and brand that signifies great traditions in both artisty and craftsmanship. Recreating exact silhouettes of classic and forgotten baseball teams, as well as apparel of other vintage baseball, football, and hockey teams. We stopped into their Seattle shop to get a glimpse of the team behind Ebbets...

Thank you Fecal Face, we saw this, too. This is a really slick, beautiful series of photographs that are a collaboration between Bryan Schnelle and fashion photographer Chris Callaway. The result is Vestiges, just some clean shots of models wearing some elaborate masks which make for a nice viewing...

A few years back, in a run of sneaker purchases, I found a great pair of New Balance 576 sneakers, made in the UK, that I paid probably way too much for but just had to have. Since, I have had a minor obsession with New Balance and their UK editions, and in research and conversations with Jux contributor Helen Soteriou, found out NB makes their shoes at a factory in Flimby, Cumbria, UK. Helen took the opportunity to go visit the factory last week, and we found a great team of people putting together sneakers for the European market.
