The famed French fashion house, Louis Vuitton, has enlisted three street artists to create designs for their traditional scarf, shawl and stole models for the Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Los Angeles-based artist, Retna, New York-based artist, Aiko, and Brazil-based artists, Os Gemeos will all be designing in their own distinctly different styles. As we noted on the site yesterday, Curtis Kulig will be opening a pop-up shop in Los Angeles at Space 15 Twenty this weekend, February 1 and going through Feb 15. The "LOVE ME" Pop-Up and Polaroid Show is curated by Curtis Kulig and presented by Space 15 Twenty, Urban Outfitters and Vans. For the occasion, Juxtapoz has created a limited-editioned cover for the pop-up space featuring Kulig's "LOVE ME" staple. The cover was created specifically for the pop-up, and you can only get it at Space 15 Twenty.

Curtis Kulig x Vans: "LOVE ME” Collection

As you will see in the coming days, we have a feature on Curtis Kulig in our upcoming issue. Okay, these points aside, Curtis Kulig, the man behind the "LOVE ME" moniker, is set to release a micro-collection with Vans for the Spring 2013 season. The Classic Authentic, the Checkerboard Slip-On, and the women's SK8-Hi Slim are all part of the collection.

The Barcelona based artist Guim Tió Zarraluki creates his abstracted portrait illustrations with a unique method that he has adapted to the majority of his work. By altering fashion magazine images, he creates these oil-pastel covered, strange/beautiful, bug-eyed girls with delicate features and lovely lips that we can't help but admire.

A Carpet Made Entirely of Toy Army Soldiers

It may hurt your feet, but the design and formation is incredible. The collective, We Make Carpets, consisting of Marcia Nolte, Stijn van der Vleuten and Bob Waardenburg, "mix traditional skills and a critical view of the consumer society in unusual carpets." In this instance, they made a carpet out of plastic green and gold toy soldiers, in conjunction with Dutch Design Week 2010.
