In collaboration with LNDMRK and Saint-Louis communication, the YUL project was organized. The concept was to bring four international artists together, to create work to be sold during a silent auction benefiting the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation for sick children. The four artists included Faith 47, Jasper Wong, Omen and Ricardo Cavolo, all traveled to Montreal, Canada and painted on a large 800 square foot wall that was dismounted in smaller pieces. This new video further explains the project and the artist viewpoints.
Juxtapoz // Tuesday, September 03, 2013
Juxtapoz is very excited that for the 3rd year in a row, we will be heading to Stavanger, Norway for the fantastic international-in-scope street and public art festival, Nuart. Every year, the Nuart crew puts together not only an interesting line-up that let's artists explore new angles and creative versions of their art, but also provides panels and context to public art. This year, David Choe, Vhils, Martha Cooper, ROA, C215, Dal East, Faith 47, and M-City are just some of the names that will be on the Western coast of Norway this September. Watch a video after the jump!
