If you are in San Francisco tonight, the only activity you should have planned is attending Ever Gold Gallery’s five year anniversary group show! Congratulations! With a hurricane of change happening everywhere you look in San Francisco, which includes many galleries closing, it’s comforting to see places like Ever Gold Gallery persevere and flourish through it all. To celebrate a healthy five years, owner and founder, Andrew McClintock has enlisted 80 artists for a massive group show that will occupy the moderately small 500-square-foot space. Check out the fantastic list of artists. It's a long one.

Tomorrow, May 4, 2013, Ever Gold Gallery in San Francisco presents a third solo exhibition from New York-based artist, Mark Mulroney. Strangely, the press release for “A Fertile Menace” accurately describes the tone of much of Mulroney’s work. "Mark Mulroney has never stabbed anyone. Once he tried to punch someone in the face but he missed, then he ran. Fortunately for Mulroney he is very fast and has managed to stay safe for nearly 35 years....

Ever Gold Gallery in San Francisco will be hosting Yokonori Stone’s first solo exhibition titled “Welcome to the Tenderloin” next Thursday April, 5th, 2012.  It appears the artist drew inspiration from and will be paying tribute to many of San Francisco’s art staples and its scenic landscape. “I hope I don’t piss off Barry McGee cause I really like his work and sometimes I wish I was him”, says Stone.

San Francisco-based artist, Josh Short opens his exhibition Bomb Shelter Radio and Tenderloin Self-Defense Club tonight, February 2nd, 2012 at Evergold Gallery.  The artist is participating in a bi-annual residency program held at the gallery and along with his installations; he will host several live sonic events that will include experimental noise transmissions, live metal and hardcore bands, and subversive FM radio interventions.

In their first biyearly residency program, Chris Ritson has built site specific installations by growing crystals, organisms and creating media collages.
