San Francisco was on the art beat this weekend with 3 different art fairs to attend, and Friday afternoon we made our way to artMRKT, the most internationally represented fair of the trio. From Park Life, to LeBasee, to Daniel Horowitz' fantastic collection of collage and drawings at Muriel Guepin's booth, this year's showing was also SF's most eclectic.

Dropped by Ever Gold Gallery in SF this weekend for a peek at the opening of Sandy Kim's show of photos, 'Soft and Wet'. 'Perspective, honesty, and lack of filter reflects on Sandy Kim’s feelings on the surreal microcosm of her life. A life where friends, lovers, and enemies are bound together by the rope of sex, a life where relationships come and go, where friends become lovers who become ex-lovers then enemies and finally friends again.'

We made it out to ArtPadSF this weekend, where we saw works from presenting galleries such as White Walls, Ever Gold, Gregory Lind, Guerrero Gallery, Park Life, and Anno Domini, amongst others. And we got to sit poolside for a quick second as well.

Adam Parker Smith will be exhibiting at Ever Gold Gallery in San Francisco this May, and as we were looking at the mixed media sculpture and installation work from the NY-based artist, we found some very interesting/cool (yes, we used cool, the work is cool) pieces from Parker Smith's past shows. Looks after the jump . . .
