Juxtapoz contributing photographer and legend in his own right, Estevan Oriol (Juxtapoz #70), just released this dope collage of old school videos from way back in '97 until now. A 10-year reel collaboration is pretty dope, but Oriol is quick to send shout-outs to ass those who helped his along the way, as he states, “Thanks to all that helped me get all this dope footage: Psycho Realm, Cypress Hill, Boo Yaa, Blink 182, Eminem, D-12, Big Red, DJ Muggs, Screaming Soul Hill, Jae P, The Homies in Los.” Pretty impressive lineup, huh? But you need to remember that's just how Estevan rolls.

Vans and Estevan Oriol (Juxtapoz #70) teamed up Thursday night in Downtown Los Angeles for an evening celebrating the photographer's ICONOclasts series of portraits. Vans commissioned the photos for a print and outdoor campaign seen globally the past few months and those who sat down in front of Oriol's lens included artists Robert Williams and Wes Humpston, musicians Henry Rollins and Lemmy Kilmister, skate legend and filmmaker Stacy Peralta, skater John Cardiel, longboard surfer Joel Tudor, and Sarah from Paris' venerable Colette boutique. The event took place at Oriol & Mister Cartoon's Last Laugh Pop-Up and luminaries that showed up included Robert Williams (shown above center with Oriol, left) and Rollins as well as actress Mena Suvari and model Joy Bryant. Estevan Oriol's (Juxtapoz #70) raw style of photography truly captures the essence of his subjects, so it’s a good thing Upper Playground has continued their partnership with the photographer by breathing new life into his work in the form of t-shirt graphics and accessories. Oriol’s latest series of tees and hoodies explore topics including police brutality, violence and sex, while also bringing back some classics. We love this Lost Angel hoodie, but hit up www.upperplayground.com to peep the entire Estevan Oriol line now.
