On Saturday November 19th at 3pm, Todd "Reas" James and Steve "Espo" Powers are having a show celebrating the end of phase 1 of Love Letter To Brooklyn, and showing off a large amount of artwork from the Street Market neighborhood of the MOCA's Art In the Streets exhibition.

The Fulton Mall facing Albee Square in Brooklyn, Ny received a much needed renovation courtesy of the skillful hand of Steven Powers. The artist recently painted a huge parking garage in Downtown Brooklyn and there will surely be several more popping up in the future. Is Powers a sneaker connoisseur or jabbing at our consumerism behavior?

Stephen Powers was commissioned by Ogilvy & Mather New York and Joshua Liner Gallery to create murals that reinterpret the words and quotes of agency founder David Ogilvy. This video sort of sums up what Powers is all about, his reasons, body of work, and his love of sign-painting.
