Austrian artist Erwin Wurm punches, crushes, and kicks clay models of known and unknown buildings. The pieces, part of an exhibition entitled Wittgensteinian Wittgensteinian Grammar of Physical Education at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac in France, are then cast in bronze, acrylic, and polyester and some are even coated in sliver or gold-plating.

Austrian artist, Erwin Wurm, has taken over the outdoor plaza of the Standard Hotel in New York with am 18-foot, 1.6-ton sculpture of a headless box man. The artist’s new sculpture titled “Big Kastenmann” now occupies the space where KAWS' sculpture “Companion Passing Through” once stood last summer.

Austrian artist, Erwin Wurm, has taken over the outdoor plaza of the Standard Hotel in New York with am 18-foot, 1.6-ton sculpture of a headless box man. The artist’s new sculpture titled “Big Kastenmann” now occupies the space where KAWS' sculpture “Companion Passing Through” once stood last summer.  A giant crane needed to install the large piece and the following video documents the installation process.
