McGinnis is known for his illustrations of over 1200 paperback book covers- including pulp and erotica- and over 40 movie posters, including Breakfast at Tiffanys (his first film poster assignment), Barbarella, and several James Bond and Matt Helm films.

Takato Yamamoto was born in Akita prefecture (Japan) in 1960, where he later refined and developed what would be knows as his “Heisei Esthiticism” style.  Yamamoto is interested in portraying famous occidental myths, such as Salome or Saint Sebastian. His graphic depictions of sex and death are reminiscent of work of English illustrator Aubrey Beardsley, a greatly controversial artist of the Art Nouveau era.
