Carlos Diez started drawing at an early age, influenced by the female form and the likes of Barbarella and Princess Leia. He began choosing his models and getting more into realism and the pin-up genre before he realized what he was doing.  When he came into contact with the work of Vargas, everything changed and this profound effect pushed him forward with his own work.
