George Platt Lynes

George Platt Lynes (b. 1907 - d. 1955) was an American fashion and commercial photographer. In 1955, diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, Lynes destroyed much of his print and negative archives, particularly his male nudes, although today he most recognized for his glowing photographic studies of the male body.
