New Muses, Old Favorite

Erotica // Thursday, May 03, 2012
I've always loved the work of Barcelona based illustrator, Conrad Roset. His erotic muses are ever-changing though stylistically his work is always recognizable, with their inked simplicity and rosy lips and knees. The innocence he portrays in minimal provocative poses gets me every time. His new collection of female figures, from early 2012 prove to be no different.

It was shot at the Hotel Chelsea and other locations in New York City, and follows the lives of several of the young women who live there, and stars many of Warhol's superstars.

"Pablo Picasso, famous for his love life, put women at the center of his painting, interpreting the world through them and using them to project his erotic desires." I really can't help but crack a smile when catching a glimpse into the intimate mind of this master's sketchbook.

Vanallemeersch's Erotica

Erotica // Thursday, May 03, 2012
Raw and dirty, Sam Vanallemeersch's erotic sketches are as graphically pleasing as they are fascinating. With an inescapable illustrative style, Sam's heavy hand lends itself perfectly to his sketchy, ink drawn narratives. Deep, dark, destined erotica.
