One of our favorites curators of the moment, Jesper Elg of V1 Gallery in Copenhagen, just opened a curated show at The Hole in NYC called Chicken or Beef?. The show itself is loaded with great talent from both America and Europe, curated as a "Transatlantic survey of figurative painting in Europe and America, named after the ubiquitous question posed on transatlantic flights."

One of our favorite booths from the entire weekend of fairs in NYC was the Pace Prints booth at The Armory Show's Modern Fair. Pace featured works from Keith Haring, Wangechi Mutu, Shepard Fairey, Erik Parker, Ryan McGinness, Yoshitomo Nara, Hockney, and Chuck Close.

Yes, it was a quick month (no Leap Year here), and we are here again to announce another new issue of Juxtapoz. In our April 2013 issue, we are proud to feature legendary fine artist Ralph Steadman and his longtime collaborations with friend Hunter S. Thompson. With contributions from former Rolling Stone editor, Ben Fong-Torres, X-Files creator Chris Carter, and Jux writer Nathan Spoor, we are proud to help usher in a year of celebrating one of the most iconic artists of our times, Mr Ralph Steadman.

Pace Prints is presenting Upswing Dub Project, an exhibition of new monoprints by Erik Parker, created in the Pace Editions studios in New York. The project will be on view March 8 - April 13. The new sereis features unique prints, florid and densely packed with hand colored deviants, collaged rarities and other miscreations of Parker's own invention.
