Sure enough, this video, directed by Hayley Akins, with animation by Hayley and Andy Williams, features the paintings of Eric Shaw. Eric Shaw's colorful gouache paintings depict bold, graphic and pattern-laden spaces that are abstracted and dizzying with very opaque and hard edged forms intertwining across the image.

Eric Shaw doodles obsessively, delving into the space where all things psychedelic thrive.  Referencing Hinduism, Mayan, Native American creation myths and hippie subculture in his wildly disorienting patterns.  Semi abstract illustrations that are a little disturbing, confusing and erotically engaging. Shaw creates slightly aggressive, sexual and weird anatomical explorations.
