After leaving her job as a stockbroker, Nicola Taylor's photography career began at the age of 33. Using herself as a model and capturing the images with a remote control, Nicola tells stories of witches, ghosts, spirits, fairies, lost loves, through her series Tales of the Moors Country. The "stories" are inspired by tales and folklore from the North Yorkshire Moors where she grew up. 

This morning we take a look at some of Adam Neate's sculptures. Neat is a Bristish painter, conceptual and street artist who has been lauded worldwide for his paintings, sculptures, and public art.

This morning we take a look through a few of English illustrator, designer, and architect Roger Dean's landscapes. Dean is best known for his posters and album covers (Yes, Asia) and his surreal, science-fiction-like landscapes transport us to another world.

The Financial Times Weekend Magazine sent London-based photographer Ben Roberts on assignment to photography people and places around the former coal-mining town, Rugeley. He chose to visit the Amazon fulfillment warehouse that had at one point been a boost to the local economy in his series Amazon Unpacked. 

Nest-like forms inspire British artist Laura Bacon’s sculptures and they are often nestled in trees, on the sides of buildings, and riverbanks. "Whilst the scale and impact varies from striking to subtle (sometimes only visible upon a quizzical double take), I relish the opportunity to let a building 'feed' the form, as if some part of the building is exhaling into the work." 

Artist Yulia Bordskaya was born in Russia and is currently living in the UK. She has earned an international reputation for her innovative 'quilled' paper illustrations.   

These sunny urban California scenes are part of English Painter John Tierney's first UK solo show. Tierney has gained a steady following of collectors and admirers after retiring as a Criminologist and devoting his time to painting the urban landscapes of Los Angeles, New York, and Helsinki.  

Laurent Moreau was born in Britain in 1982 and currently lives and works in Strasbourg and shares a studio with other illustrators. 'Now, in my work as an illustrator or a graphic designer, when I realize an image, I perfectly know how it will be printed and which are the constraints. My work is influenced by my passion for printing as well: a limited range of colors, little dots, importance of the typography.' she states.

Living and working in London, UK, Sasita Samarnpharb is a visual artist and illustrator originally hailing from Bangkok, Thailand. With work featured in Thailand publications, Undo Magazine Plus and CG+ Magazine and an extensive personal portfolio, there is no shortage of talent in Sasita's creative ventures.

Marina Muun is a Bulgarian artist currently working in the UK. Each of her paintings--often colorfully patterned body-landscape hybrids--"attempt to capture and convey a feeling, a thought or a daydream and infuse them with a sense of the fantastical and a love for detail. Her paintings have a deliberate naive feel although that may not all be true for the subject itself."
