New mural by El Mac in Denmark

El Mac is currently in Denmark for his solo exhibition that opened last night at Galerie Wolfsen. While there, the artist spent some time outdoors adding this massive mural entitled "Our Lady of Aalborg" to the Denmark landscape.

Shamsia Hassani is the first and probably only serious female graffiti writer in Afghanistan, and is also an associate professor in the Fine Arts Department at Kabul University...

Next Monday, October 29th, we are set to premier the documentary filmed during the work made for one of 2012's best street art festivals, All City Canvas Mexico City. We were lucky enough to be in Mexico City for the majority of the festival, and were able to see importrant and historical districts of the city transformed by some of the best talents in contemporary muralism and street art.

El Mac for No Doubt "Push And Shove" Album Cover

May 2012 cover artist, El Mac, just completed a nice assignment/project for No Doubt; the album cover of their newest LP, Push and Shove, due in stores on September 18, 2012. Mac painted four acyrlic on wood panels of each band member, and each panel makes the whole of the cover.

El Mac, one of the cover artists of our Public Art examination in May 2012, just sent us over some images of his recent mural in Havana, Cuba for the 11th Havana Biennial (in conjunction with Primary Flight out of Miami, the Cisneros-Fontanals Art Foundation (CIFO), and the UNEAC, (National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba).
