Pasadena-based artist Jesse Fillingham works to explore themes of "myth, introspection, creation, and wizardry." We like those themes, and his series of drawings depicting "an alternate creation myth composed of trees of strife, knowledge and life, as well as ephemeral libidinous pritis - robed men ponder and wander through graphic landscapes."

Wriggles & Robbins put together this short stop-motion film to promote life-drawing classes at east London's Book Club. In the film, a life model is drawn by the students and dances from easel to easel. After setting up ten easels and capturing the artists sketching the model at a different angle, they edited it together by merging each drawing into the next.

We are enjoying the drawings of Stockholm-based artist Oskar Korsár this morning. Oskar's female figures occupy commonplace settings awkwardly. His style and imagery reference his own experiences between the ages of 8 and 16 living in a Mongolian yurt in the forests of Northern Sweden.

Greek artist Elias Kafouros is opening a solo show entitled A Thesis on the Shelf at Alpha Δelta Gallery in Athens Greece on April 25th. A tangle of seemingly different stories unravel in his brilliant drawings. Each of the stories 'are being enveloped along intertwined paths' and 'despite the fact that the final image is articulated by classical forms, it acquires an intense psychedelic character.'

Being big fans, we have posted the work of Seungyea Park (aka Spunky Zoe) before. Born and raised in Seol, Korea, Park addresses the topic of 'Monstrousness' caused by fear in our inner world. She says, "Monsters are everywhere. At the moment 'I' within me faces the 'I' outside of me they try to avoid, conceal, and deny each other, considering the other a monster."
