The extraordinary Korean installation artist, Do Ho Suh, has managed to create a giant H.R. Giger-looking alien tail out of 98 men standing on top of each other, with each figure covering each other’s eyes. Resemblances of a spinal cord also come to mind. Made from stainless steel, “Karma” was recently installed in the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art. At 23 feet tall bending to the sky, this piece is a must to see in person if you live in New Orleans.

“Falling Star” is an installation by South Korean artist, Do Ho Suh, which leaves a house balancing on the roof of a seven story building on the UC San Diego Campus. Looking as if the house dropped from the sky, visitors can view the piece on the roof, enjoy a beautiful well-manicured garden, and catch a descent view of the surrounding San Diego landscape.
