The influx of graffiti writers traveling to Detroit to leave their mark is evident. Hundreds of names cover the streets making it increasingly more difficult to stand out. One name that dominates the landscape and is actually a native to these parts is Elmer. This new video follows him around Detroit as he drinks Hennessy, paints a number of spots (even in a snowstorm), and gets some unwanted attention from the police. Shot in black and white with a good choice in music for setting the mood.

This photograph is very telling about the kind of place Detroit can be, dark, sketchy, and a graffiti haven.

FTMD crew made the most of this spacious spot by painting a “Full Time Melt Down” spell out. No room for sidebusting.
