Chances are, there haven't been all that many Viking Parades or invasions on Manhattan. Ever. We think the Vikings got to Newfoundland, but not New Amsterdam. Dennis McNett, whom we featured the other afternoon and who just opened a solo show at Joshua Liner in NYC, held a Viking Parade last night to coincide with his opening. Pictures after the jump . . .

Our good friend Dennis McNett, who is not only a fine artist, but someone who can put on a piece of performance art if need be, will be having his biggest solo show to date this December at Joshua Liner Gallery in New York City. The show has a good name, too: Reaping Waves, Vital Vessels and the Passing of the Wolfbat. Dennis has a bunch of festivities planned for the show as well . . .

He is our contributing editor to the magazine, so seeing that Joey Garfield (with arms wide open) sent us this photo of him, Stephen “ESPO” Powers, “actors” in the film, and some random guy in the back, we felt obligated to show you. That’s right, this past Tuesday in Philadelphia, Garfield world premiered his new film, A Love Letter For You.

What, you think wearing oversized wolfbat masks is unusual? Not if you’re Dennis McNett (Juxtapoz #115), who is the subject of a new video by the cats at Volcom.
