Temperatures plummeted and the cold evening turned abruptly white at Known Gallery in Los Angeles last Saturday the 16th. Who would imagine that the Temple of Wolfbat would hold court in such stark brightness? Dante Ross curated this latest parade of McNett’s trademark characters, choosing to highlight their ferocity on the high walls, giving each creature enough space to guard their territory...

We are very excited to have been on the ground during the installation of Dennis McNett's "Temple of the Wolfbat" exhibition at Known Gallery in Los Angeles, opening on Saturday, November 16. We know Dennis has worked extremely hard on the work for this show, and our roaming contributor to the mag, Brock Fetch, has been in LA checking out what the Temple is all about...

Special for the Fall season, Juxtapoz has teamed with two close friends of the family, Dennis McNett and PEZ, for two pullover hooded sweatshirts. McNett's design features his iconic wolf character, made just in time for McNett's solo show at Known Gallery on November 16, and PEZ' graphic is a take on the artist's iconic sticker graffiti style. Both available now in the Juxtapoz webstore.

Our good friend Dennis McNett, who we have worked with recently at the Outside Lands Music & Art Festival and also on a brand new Juxtapoz hoodie, is getting set for a huge exhibition, Temple of the Wolfbat, at Los Angeles' Known Gallery this November 16, 2013. We have been getting sneak peek images from McNett's studio in NYC, and have a a few to showcase today...

Juxtapoz was again, for the third year, at the annual Outside Lands Music and Art Festival held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, where we curated the art portion of the event. Mike Shine, Dennis McNett, and Camille Rose Garcia all created fantastic site-specific installations! Some of the weekend's acts stopped by to say hi and we met up with Jurrasic 5, Foals, Surfer Blood, Cherub, Atlas Genius, Milo Greene, The Head and the Heart, Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, Dillon Francis, and more to talk album artwork, music videos, Paul McCartney not breaking a sweat, and the fog.

As we have the past two years, Juxtapoz is back at San Francisco's major music and art festival, Outside Lands, curating the visual art that you will see around Golden Gate Park from August 9-11, 2013. This year, we have added a few surprises to our line-up, as well as created a few new products at our tent...

The show will feature all of Dennis' graphics for Anti-Hero to date, all 26 graphics. And second, the NYC-based artist will be creating an installation with Juxtapoz for the 2013 Outside Lands festival that kicks off next weekend in SF, August 9-11, 2013.

As we noted on the site earlier this week, our good friend, NYC-based Dennis McNett, has a show opening at MOHS in Copenhagen, Denmark starting this April 19, 2013. Remember, for the last 6 years the Wolfbat tribe has grown and performed ceremony, sacrifice, and spread the way of the Wolfbat throughout the North American continent. Artifacts from these ceremonies are presented here at Mohs in Copenhagen to show that Wolfbats are indeed real. Henrik Haven wait to check in...

Juxtapoz' good friend, Dennis McNett, will be in Copenhagen for a new exhibition at MOHS starting this April 19, 2013. There is a long description about the cryptic nature of the show, that you can read after the jump, but just know this: For the last 6 years the Wolfbat tribe has grown and performed ceremony, sacrifice, and spread the way of the Wolfbat throughout the North American continent. Europe, be ready.

Last Saturday night, as Manhattan was in full swing of all things Armory Show, Dennis McNett and the Wolfbat team put together a full music, installation, performance, and fine art party at House of Vans in Brooklyn. The show aimed to slay "the demons and storm surge sent by the gods through hurricane Sandy." In other words, a benefit. Tod Seelie was there...
