Fine art photographer, David Welch, is no stranger to us. His series, entitled ‘Material World’, is response to our societies over consumption of material goods. Creating photographic assemblages that are Duchampian-inspired, Welch creates monuments, or totems, that serve as precarious artifacts of a culture that is caught in a contemplative gaze.
