David Mach's Coat Hanger Sculptures

We've posted the work of Scottish-based artist David Mach before. His magazine installations and sculptures are pretty incredible, appearing in waves and carrying everyday objects through the gallery with him. This morning we are admiring his coat hanger sculptures, which are quite impressive.

We know Scottish-based artist David Mach for his coat hanger work and matchstick sculptures (we posted them on the site before), but now we know what he does with his old magazines: he makes gallery sized sculptures with them. We just hope there is a Juxtapoz or 10 in there somewhere.

We are just at a time where artists are making amazing work with new materials and mediums. Scottish sculptor, David Mach, takes different colored matchstick tips and makes faces of animals and people. He also creates pieces with wire hangars, and he has been doing it for years.
