There's a few trends that keep on keepin' on, but the one that continues to defy any foreseeable prediction is that of: white rappers. Chalk it up to Mickey Avalon for glamorizing the latter. He's cleverly marred what's kitschy and indecent in life mixed in among smooth hooks and memorable rhythms. From a guy that signs his name with hearts.

You know you have made it big when Taiwan's Next Media Animation does a recap of your famous deeds in their signature style. David Choe, who made international headlines with news of his Facebook stock holdings becoming public, made the rounds of major NYC media outlets this past week, including Barbara Walters and Howard Stern, and NMA.tv created this animation recounting the week.

Keeping up with the whereabouts of our good friend David Choe, he is set to be on the Howard Stern show today, the King of All Media (does he still go with that moniker?). David Choe, DVS-1, and Joseph To were recently in Denver, Colorado participating in Terminal Kings, which is a large 10-day public art project. While the artists were enjoying the sub-zero comforting temperatures of the Mile-High city, they got to paint numerous public murals as seen here.

Back in the mid-years of the last decade, David Choe was commissioned to paint the offices of a burgeoning social networking site in Palo Alto, California called Facebook. Fast-forward nearly seven years and one world conquering company and one leading international contemporary were back together again this weekend, as Choe painted the brand new offices of Facebook in Menlo Park, CA.

We spent a lot of time with David Choe and DVS-1 in Stavanger for Nuart over the past week, and when we left them at the crossroads that was London Heathrow Airport, they were off to paint in Lazarides Gallery's The Minotaur group exhibition in the tunnels underneath Waterloo Station. David Choe just sent us some images of the progress.
