Thumbs Up! David Choe on VBS

Juxtapoz // Friday, June 08, 2007
This started up awhile ago, but in case you didn't see it, here's a link to Episode One of Thumbs Up!, David Choe's hitchhiking adventures across America that he did for Vice Magazine's online broadcasting site VBS.tv. Thumbs Up! went on hiatus halfway through the trip, but more episodes are coming down the pipe soon. Choe and his cousin, Harry Kim, start off the series by goofing off in the Los Angeles train yard for a bit, outlining their travel strategy (they'll take any form of transport, they just won't pay for any of it), and talking about how to avoid getting raped on the road. As evening approaches, they realize they need to figure out how to get going, but not before investigating evidence of human excretion and meeting a guide who relates his recent sexual conquest with a Klingon. It doesn't stop. www.vbs.tv {moscomment}
