Any daily New York cyclist will tell you there are a serious lack of bike racks in all the boroughs. Everyone’s lugging these massive chains around so they can lock their bikes to something not intended for locking, trees work well. Any new bike racks mean a win for cyclists, whether Talking Heads lead singer, David Byrne, designed them or not, in this case he did.

David Byrne Giant Globe Squashed Under High Line in NYC

Yes, the Talking Heads David Byrne. Underneath the High Line at West 25th Street in NYC, Byrne has a gigantic globe that appears to be squashed tightly under the tracks. The piece, Tight Spot, will occupy this space until October 1, 2011.
