Brazilian artist Bruno 9LI, and artist we had a chance to collaborate recently with in Barcelona at the Moblie World Congress, is set to open "Materia Radiante" at David B Smith Gallery in Denver on August 14, 2014. Bruno has expanded on his abstract, psychedelic landscapes, building upon work that explores concepts "elucidated by French philosopher Henri Bergson in his work Matter and Memory."

David B. Smith Gallery is hosting "Then and now and then," an exhibition of new works by interdisciplinary artist Tobias Fike, through July 11, 2014. Fike’s work maintains a personal, at times biographical, bent with a simple, approachable style that is balanced with incredible nuance and a foundation of rigorous conceptual inquiry.

We have long been fans of Gregory Euclide, from his paintings, sculptures, installations, and cover artwork for Bon Iver. It is his newest project, and subsequent print series, that may be his most impressive. Along with his gallery, David B Smith, Euclide recently created a series temporary paintings made with Sumi ink on dry erase board, and now they are being released in a print series.

We saw a lot of art here at the magazine each day, but occasionally you get stopped in your tracks, and Kim Keever's work just did that to us. Currently showing at David B Smith Gallery in Denver, Keever shoots large-scale photographs of incredibly detailed topographies in a 200-gallon tank, which is then filled with water.

David B. Smith Gallery and Gregory Euclide have teamed up to release Euclide's album cover work for Bon Iver as a limited-edition print, with 50% of net proceeds donated to Agapé Riding Center and the Greater Mankato Area United Way Connecting Kids Program, two non-profit organizations based in South Central Minnesota.

We showed a batch of Kris Lewis' paintings on the site a few months back, and there was a ton of enthusiasm on the new work. Tomorrow, May 20, at David B. Smith Gallery, Kris Lewis will unveil another new body of work, some of which we have after the jump.
