Designer Lesia Trubat has created a pair of electronic ballet slippers that capture the dancer's movements and transformm them into visual sensations.

Using three different cameras to record the motion data, artist Daniel Franke created a moving sculpture visualizing a musical piece with a dancer's body. Each of the cameras reacts to sound and support the physical imitation of the musical piece by the performer. The movements of the dancer created a reference to an otherwise invisible space.

Earlier this year, our good friends, the German art duo of Herakut, collaborated on a special project with the performers from Lucent Dossier in The Lucent Dossier Experience – When Lucent Found Herakut at the downtown Los Angeles space, the Palace Theater. The collaborative project brought together acrobats, contortionists, aerial dancers, stilt walkers with Herakut's art. And now, we have a video of the project...

'The Bosom Ballet is a performance in which I stretch, pinch, squeeze, twist, rock, roll, and jiggle my breasts to music, usually “The Blue Danube Waltz,” under a pink spotlight. We told you recently that we are working on a project with Harmony Korine, and we just noticed that this video, "Curb Dance by Harmony Korine," just popped up on YouTube. It features, you guessed it, Harmony dancing around on curbs and other things, like a good Bolinas-born boy should.
