Get ready. It will be the Summer of Daft Punk. We have been streaming the new album, Random Access Memories in the office all week, and we admit, this is will be a good soundtrack for a mellow night out or something more Parisian disco if you so want to go Parisian Disco. Daehyun Kim, who we have featured in the magazine this year, just did an illustration in honor of Daft Punk's new album, and shared with us the final piece and some detail shots. 

For the March 2013 issue, we asked South Korea-born, Vienna-based artist, Daehyum Kim to create an original illustration for the magazine. What we got was this stunning, highly-detailed, meditative piece from the artist, entitled Moon I See, that exemplifies everything we love about the artist. Check the detailed shots... 

Insanely surreal and beautifully simple illustrations from Daehyun Kim, who goes by Moonassi. 'I was born in Seoul, in 1980. Now I’m living and working in Vienna. I studied fine arts at a University, specializing in Traditional East-Asian Art/Paintings. And I am also working as a graphic designer.'

We have written on the site before about how big of fans we are of the drawings of Moonassi, aka Daehyun Kim, and we ran across the new album cover the artist created for the band Reedbeds and their album Basement Grotto.
