As the March 2013 issue hits newsstands this week, we are very pleased to give you an inside look at the features and content in the magazine this month. Not only do we get brought into the riddle-filled world of Mike Shine and his new Flotsam's Harvest exhibition opening in SF this March, we catch up with Curtis Kulig, Pat Perry, Peter Sutherland, Victor Castillo, Caitlin Hackett, Mary Iverson, Hamburger Eyes, Jean-Pierre Roy, and Daehyun Kim.

As we noted on the site yesterday, Curtis Kulig will be opening a pop-up shop in Los Angeles at Space 15 Twenty this weekend, February 1 and going through Feb 15. The "LOVE ME" Pop-Up and Polaroid Show is curated by Curtis Kulig and presented by Space 15 Twenty, Urban Outfitters and Vans. For the occasion, Juxtapoz has created a limited-editioned cover for the pop-up space featuring Kulig's "LOVE ME" staple. The cover was created specifically for the pop-up, and you can only get it at Space 15 Twenty.

As you will see in the coming days, we have a feature on Curtis Kulig in our upcoming issue. (And, a special, limited-edition, site-specific cover being released this weekend, more on that in the coming days). Okay, these points aside, Curtis Kulig, the man behind the "LOVE ME" moniker, is set to release a micro-collection with Vans for the Spring 2013 season. The Classic Authentic, the Checkerboard Slip-On, and the women's SK8-Hi Slim are all part of the collection.

Last Thursday in the San Francisco Bay Area town of Los Altos Hills, Juxtapoz and actress Marisa Tomei helped co-host a one-night exhibition to help benefit the Palo Alto International Film Festival. Featuring the works of Sage Vaughn, Deedee Cheriel, and Curtis Kulig, the migrating pop-up Gallery for the People organized the event to bring together both cultures of film and art.

As we mentioned on the site over the past few days with Sage Vaughn and Deedee Cheriel, NYC-based Curtis Kulig will also be showing new works at a pop-up exhibition in Northern California with Gallery For the People this Thursday, October 18. The Fall exhibition is the first Bay Area pop-up for the migrating gallery, founded by Eva Maria Daniels and Ally Canosa.

Pure Logo a group show curated by Skullphone featuring the art work of Evan Gruzis, Curtis Kulig, Takeshi Murata, Cleon Peterson, Skullphone, Paul Wackers and Hugh Zeigler opened this past weekend at New Image Art in Los Angeles.
