VELVET ZOERISM in Mexico

Graffiti // Friday, October 18, 2013
Here is yet another new piece from the very active artist Zoer in collaboration with Velvet, this time painting solely with acrylic on a rooftop in Mexico. Unlike many of Zoer’s other works, letters take a seat, while other imagery become the predominate focus.

Six New Walls from Zoer

Graffiti // Thursday, October 17, 2013
Much of Zoer’s new work keeps us optimistic for the possibility of new ideas involving the progression of letter painting in the streets. Not only can he paint bold, extra clean letters in a variety of collage styles, but transportation vehicles as well. All these new walls were painted in Mexico on Zoer’s travels.

video: ZOER CSX - LONDON / BE VISIBLE

Graffiti // Tuesday, October 08, 2013
In this new video for the Urbanproof Project, Zoer covers the entire corner of a room in a radiant orange, painting the words “Be Visible” in perfect font across multiple surfaces. The project aims to promote bicycle clothing that provides security and comfort to everyday urban cyclists whether they are on their bike or on foot, day or night.  “At the heart of this project is a line of “functionally fashionable” mobility clothing designed by passionate bikers who were looking for solutions to the different problems encountered by everyday urban cyclists.”

Eindhoven #13

Was this a giant stamp or made in Illustrator? This new Zoer and Velvet piece doesn’t even really resemble any sort of “traditional” graffiti, but we really like it.

Zoer Csx

Zoer’s work has been evolving and progressing so quickly. We really enjoy the painterly style he has been moving towards mixed with font-like lettering. This one speaks for itself.

Zoerism.

Zoer’s newer work is looking less like graffiti and more like fine art painting with some graphic design elements sprinkled in. This one looks like it’s one tug away from being ripped right off that wall. Don’t do it!
