Over the last few years, Detroit has become a destination for artists, more specifically graffiti artists, to visit and spray freely. The post-apocalyptic landscape offers an open canvas and writers from around the U.S. have been taking advantage. This new installment from Crack & Shine filmed by Will Robson Scott follows a few writers around town and documents a little piece of what’s going on in The Motor City.

Topsafe just released a preview of their film Crack & Season 2. This film aims to document the graffiti subculture and it’s leading artists, bringing them to a broader audience. We can see from this preview that Sever, Zes, Vizie, Don’t, and many others work will be highlighted with it’s release.

Crack & Shine releases this new video documenting an Australia visit with Horfe and Roid. In our opinion, these two are creating some of the most unique and original graffiti in the street right now, while painting on complete opposite sides of the style spectrum. Watch as they paint clean trains, set up an art show, and have some beers.

Here is another installment from Crack & Shine focusing on the Catacombs in Paris. Watch as they follow Honet through the endless maze of tunnels and knee high water. Built sometime around the 17th Century, painting in these tunnels could preserve ones work until the end of time!
