Smithe has always been one of our favorite artists, and with fellow Mexican artists Kraken and Seher, he will open a new body of work at Cotton Candy Machine in Brooklyn from August 15—September 10, 2014. As CCM notes, "Smithe is one of the those artists whose work wows just about everyone who see's it. Once again Tara McPherson has curated the Tiny Trifecta art show at her Cotton Candy Machine store/gallery in Brooklyn. Each artist was asked to create three tiny pieces of $100 art. The show features John Baizley, Marco Mazzoni, Tara McPherson, Saelee Oh, Erik Mark Sandberg, Skinner, and the last two Juxtapoz cover artists, Mark Ryden and Shepard Fairey. The show will be up through July 6, 2014.

Tonight, Saturday, April 7th, 2014 Cotton Candy Machine in Brooklyn will be an exhibition with Ciou, Malojo, and Dima Djuchin. Ciou, was born in Toulouse in 1981, she actually works and lives in her home town, after living in Bruxelles and Paris. Suspended between dream and nightmare, her paintings consist of a base made of a collage of old papers...

Buff Monster & L'Amour Supreme have a show coming up at Cotton Candy Machine in Brooklyn. Opening April 12th, the exhibition runs through May 5th. Buff Monnster's work is characterized by happy characters living in brightly-colored bubbly landscapes.

Last Friday we pass by The Cotton Candy Machine Gallery in Brooklyn to take a close look of The Candy Escape, the new exhibition by two very talented artist: Camilla d’Errico and Brandi Milne. Camilla’s drawings are full with emotion, containing an innocent and passionate story to tell. Brandi's work is inspired by classic cartoons and an abundance of nostalgic child playthings.
