On May 15, 2014, Juxtapoz and Jonathan LeVine Gallery will open "Art Truancy: Celebrating 20 Years of Juxtapoz Magazine," a group exhibition at both of LeVine's spaces at 557C West 23rd Street & 529 West 20th Street in Manhattan. The exhibition features a wide-range of cover artists and featured artists from over the past 20 years, and today we have a look at some of the covers from artists in the show. From Robert Williams to Grotesk, Mark Ryden to Swoon, here is a bit of a history lesson to catch up on, or reminisce over.

Tilt Warning Customs has teamed up with artists to build an entirely custom classic pinball arcade art installation featuring five mechanically restored vintage 1970s machines reimagined by COOP, Frank Kozik, Alex Pardee, Sam Flores, and Jeremy Fish. Should the Kickstarter funding come through, they will start by opening at FIFTY24SF next year.

On July 15, 2011, COOP will be opening a new exhibition, Idle Hands, at Corey Helford Gallery. COOP's new body of work is rendered in his signature style—self-described as “hillbilly sex crime pop art”—and features the bold colors and subject matter he is known for but with a decidedly bawdier bent.
