Today, March 21 @ the Converse Pop-Up shop inside the downtown San Francisco Urban Outfitters, SF-artists and Jux friends Henry Lewis and Kevin E Taylor will be customizing your Converse sneakers from 4—9PM. We hear a rumor that there will be free PBR, which, if you are walking your way home, sounds like a good stop-off idea. 

There may be a few of you out there in the world who are getting on a plane for Austin, Texas this week for everything and anything to do with SXSW. For Juxtapoz, we were lucky enough to partner with Los Angeles-based fine artist, Sage Vaughn, and Converse, to collaborate on a special public art project on East 6th Street in Austin. 

Over the past year, Juxtapoz and Converse have teamed on a unique project, Wall to Wall, where we invite an artist in a city in North America to create a semi-permanent mural based around the artist's interpretation of the iconic Converse star. Today, we look back on the mural created in Brooklyn, our second there, by former Juxtapoz feature artist Jersey Joe. The piece was featured on the back of our January 2013 issue.

Lovegates, who you may know as OTHER, went with his signature multi-colored figurative style, adding a dreamlike, colorful addition to the Wall to Wall project.

Row opted for a colorful, multi-charactered, text-based mural, featuring perhaps the most street cred worthy giraffe we have ever seen.
