As you may have seen over the past few years, Juxtapoz has teamed up with Converse and a collection of artists in specific cities to create a special Wall to Wall project that appears on the back of our printed magazine each month. Today, we look at the incredible Mike Shine mural created in San Francisco that is featured on the back cover of the October 2013 (Tom Waits) issue. 

Juxtapoz Presents: The Black Lips @ Shore Club, Miami Beach

This past Thursday night, Juxtapoz, Converse, and Chandran Gallery teamed up to bring The Black Lips to the Shore Club South Beach for a special poolside performance. What became of the night was a bit of perfect garage rock, a great DJ set by Roofeeo of TV on the Radio, some girls taking their tops of and jumping in the pool, some boys taking their shirts off and jumping in the pool, and maybe something extra for the pool. Amazing night. 

Buff Monster "Somewhere Far Beyond" @ Toykio, Dusseldorf

Longtime Juxtapoz friend Buff Monster is spending his hoiiday week in Dusseldorf, Germany, preparing a show of new works on canvas at Toykio. In case you missed it, Mr Buff Monster painting an exquisite mural for our Converse x Juxtapoz "Wall to Wall" series on the back cover of the current December 2013 issue, so we can't wait to see what his new works are going to look like in "Somewhere Far Beyond."

Converse Wall to Wall Hong Kong: IDT Crew

This past week, Juxtapoz took a trip to Hong Kong to both celebrate the inaugural Art Basel Hong Kong art fair, as well as spend time with the Converse team and their curated guest list of artists for their Wall to Wall Hong Kong project. Over the past few years, Converse has worked with artists from around the world to create over twenty Wall to Wall projects throughout Europe and North America. For Hong Kong, Converse brought artists from Berlin, China, Brazil, and France to complete the project. Today, we look at the wall completed by the Shenzen-based IDT Crew.
