Stanley Donwood "Terrordome" Print for Radiohead Tour Dates

New Swampy Prints

The elusive and increasingly cult-icon Swampy just released his first product in quite some time, two new prints through Paper Monster. I Like Disappearing and Owl of Yawn are available now. And as Paper Monster notes, "Before releasing this edition of prints, he kept them locked in the closet of an abandoned house owned by an infamous cult in Oakland."

The Outsiders Releases New Conor Harrington & David Choe Prints

The Outsiders, a gallery and print shop of Lazarides Gallery in London, just released prints from former Juxtapoz cover artists, Conor Harrington and David Choe. Harrington's Tardis of Delight is made in an edition of 60, while David Choe's Helmet was editioned at 187.

Waleska Nomura "Heart In Love" Print Release

Japanese-Brazilian arist, Waleska Nomura, who now takes up residence in the UK, just released a print of her signature painting series, Heart In Love. The graffiti artist turned fine artist created a bit of an ambitious project for herself: 18 layer silkscreen print—8 colous each printed twice with opaque then transparent colour plus the background plus a varnish with each layer of artwork has been handpainted by the artist.

New Book: Tiffany Bozic "Drawn by Instinct"

Tiffany Bozic, cover of our January 2011 issue, just had a monograph released through Gingko Press, Drawn By Instinct. We were lucky enough to get a copy of it here in the office, and with 192 pages of Bozic's beautiful animal and sea life paintings, this is one of our favorite books of the year. On Tuesday September 4th at 6:00pm, Bozic will be giving a lecture and book signing at the San Francisco Public Library, in conjunction with the Cal Academy of Sciences (Bozic was the artist-in-residence there a few years back).
