San Francisco-based Mario Wagner, featured in our October 2011 issue, just released two new prints (available in a set), Portal and Sighting, through BLK/MRKT. The prints feature Wagner's signature clean, collaged look with radiant color pulling the viewer's attention. We think we just found new prints for the office.

One of the best experiences this writer has ever had was spending time with George Lois at his Manhattan apartment in preparation for his December 2010 14-page feature in Juxtapoz. Not only was it an interview, history lesson, and New York Yankees debate, it was a personal discussion and advice session about capitalizing on potential. And hence Lois' new book, Damn Good Advice (For People With Talent!).

Simplicity can be the most effective form of street art. One of the best, OaKoAk, featured on the site and in the magazine this year, just released a new book through Edition Populaire, the self-titled OaKoAk. The book features a collection of some of the best street pieces we have seen over the past few years, both humorous and extremely clever.

This past August, artists Maxx242 and Munk One painted live on Labor day weekend in East Troy, Wisconsin, at Pearl Jam’s historic 20th Anniversary show. They produced an artwork on two giant billboards side by side high above the venue lawn done in acrylic and spray paint. To commemorate this special art collaboration, Maxx 242 & Munk One released 100 prints each on their respective websites today, December 9, between 10am and 2pm.

You can wrap all your holiday presents in the same old red/green/ribbon concoction liked you always do, or you can wrap and arrange your own cheeseburger with your presents. Imagine getting that holiday sweater/scarf/underwear you never wanted, but wrapped in buns and meat? Ideal, we think.

Jeremy Fish just released a new print, Time Marches On, through Upper Playground. As UP writes, "The theme of the print is about time, and how it waits for no one, and passes us by like a mutherf*cker." That seems about spot-on. The print is 18" x 18," 4-color, printed on French’s 140 lb hot fudge colored paper, and in a closed edition of 100. Signed, numbered, embossed by Mr. Fish.
