Our friend Henrik Haven stopped by the new Clare Rojas exhibition at Galleri Nicolai Wallner in Copenhagen this past weekend. As we have seen in a past exhibition at PRISM in Los Angeles, the San Francisco-based artist has moved away from her more figurative folk works into more abstract, minimalist explorations in color and shape.

  This past weekend Clare Rojas’ latest exhibition opened up at Prism gallery in Los Angeles. Entitled Pith, this body of paintings signals a further exploration for Rojas, in respect to both subject and materiality. Tonight, Ocotber 19 at PRISM Gallery in Los Angeles, San Francisco-based Clare Rojas will be opening her second solo presentation at the gallery. Entitled Pith, this body of paintings signals a further exploration for Rojas, in respect to both subject and materiality. San Francisco-based artist Clare Rojas is debuting her newest work at Prism Gallery in Los Angeles next Saturday, February 26th. The exhibition is titled Inside Bleak, and Rojas will be displaying what she calls “domestic abstract interiors.” More information about the opening after the jump...
