Since we last featured Chris Scarborough's work back in 2009, the Nashville-based artist has continued to keep himself busy creating his pristine graphite images for shows all over the US (and world!). His obvious techincal skill combines with slightly eerie subjects--like missile-toting clouds hovering in midair, contorted anime figures and girls submerged in amorphous white voids--create a tangible sense of uneasiness through fantastical imagery.

But we continue to be fascinated by the work of Medford, Massachusetts-based Chris Sacrborough, whose series Aftermath series explores the idea of an existence after an ambiguous cataclysm like a new Big Bang.
