Chris Jehly was born in 1982 and has been drawing for as long as he can remember. Currently based in Manhattan, he received his BA in printmaking at Sonoma State University, and his MFA in Visual Art from Columbia University. His work has been widely exhibited in California, and he has executed dozens of large-scale public commissioned murals.
