Tomorow, August 7th, 2015 Slow Culture gallery in Los Angeles will be celebrating their two year anniversary with "Milk & Honey," a group show featuring some of our favorite artists including Chris Burden, Ed Ruscha, Richard Colman, Ed Templeton, Retna, and many more painters, photographers, illustrators, sculptors, designers, and directors currently living and working in California.

The talk of the town in and on one of the most interesting buildings in town. Chris Burden's much-anticipated Extreme Measures just opened at the New Museum in NYC, and outside of the museum. "Spanning a forty-year career and moving across mediums, 'Extreme Measures' presents a selection of Burden’s work focused on weights and measures, boundaries and constraints, where physical and moral limits are called into question."

If you are going to take 5 minutes on this site today, we recommend checking out this documentary short on Chris Burden's amazing kinectic sculpture/installation piece, Metropolis II. Burden has taken 4 years to build the piece, using 1500 Hot Wheels, and will take the installation to Los Angeles Country Museum of Art (LACMA) this Fall.
