we are enjoying these paintings by Chilean artist Santiago Salvador this morning. Salvador thinks of his work as constructions, finding painting and illustration as "a gateway to the recognizable, the intimate and the ambiguous that surround us."

Macro Co is a Chilean artist who now lives in Buenos Aires amd created this series of surreal black and white illustrations. While trying to create a circular, undefined story , Co takes to a universe of a somber ceremony, where we seem to be watching rituals of a non-world.

Some more stylized, detail-oriented work by Chilean illustrator Jorge Roa. In this series, he renders a variety of hairstyles using some impressively fine linework. Roa studied Industrial Design at the Universidad del Bio-Bio in Chillan. He currently lives in Santiago, Chile.
