We are excited and can't wait to see this new feature-length documentary by Cheryl Dunn that chronicles pioneering photographers making their mark on the streets of New York. From Magnum veteran's Bruce Davidson (featured in our June issue) and Elliot Erwitt to Ricky Powell (also in our June issue), Boogie and Jamel Shabazz, "Everybody Street" illuminates the lives and work of New York’s iconic street photographers and the incomparable city that has inspired them for decades.

This past weekend we stopped by Known Gallery to check out Aaron Rose’s Fire Sale. When Rose moved to Los Angeles from NYC in 2001, the Beautiful Losers curator left a "big black box of 1990?s memories" in storage space in Glendale. The outpouring for Japan in the wake of the tragic earthquakes and tsunami has been amazing, and tonight, Friday, April 8, at OPENHOUSE GALLERY in NYC, there is a another great silent auction benefit, 3.11 Project's "Dear Japan, We Love You." The exhibition will feature over 50 artists in multimedia installations, painting, photography, and sculpture. More after the jump . . .

Scion just opened the Brooklyn portion of their Scion Installation 7 tour, and the topic for this installment is video. Installation 7: Video challenged 10 artists to create non-narrative video installations that will eventually transform five unique exhibitions in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Wichita, Minneapolis and Austin.
