This past weekend, our friends at Thinkspace Gallery were one the many galleries setting up shop at Beyond Eden,a multi-gallery event celebrating the New Contemporary Art Movement in Los Angeles put together by Andrew Hosner (co-owner / curator at Thinkspace). Not only that, but one of Juxtapoz' founders, Greg Escalante, was honored as an art community figure who helps push the genre forward. Nice one, Greg!

The Vancouver-based artist has an interesting dynamic in that he comes from the bustling, overcrowded cities of Japan, but has since moved to an urban center in Vancouver that is surrounded by some of the most amazing natural beauty in the world.
