Casey Girard is a Boston based freelance illustrator/designer. Her work is in watercolors and colored pencil on wood panels, as well as on paper. She employs a technique called burnishing for her colored pencil work to create a soft look on her surfaces. Her 'Animals in Alphabet' series portrays each of the 26 letters of our alphabet with a different animal counterpart.
