Working with wood for the first time ever, former Juxtapoz featured artist Steven Harrington has turned the totem-like structures of his Remain in Balance series into three whimsical, anthropomorphic lamps. Each one represents the harmony we seek in our daily lives, an inspired and inspiring reminder of the importance of equanimity.

Case Studyo has published “Lay Down – Lay it all down”, a new porcelain sculpture by dutch artist Parra. A new figure true to Parra’s world of hybrid, surreal characters. The title of the work is derived from the iconic song Lay Down 'from the 60's hippie era by' Melanie.

We have been anticipating this release for over a month now. June 2009 cover artist, Grotesk, has teamed up with the limited-editioned sculpture studio, Case Studyo, to release 6ft-6in, a lamp made in ode to the legend that was #23. The piece releases today, January 25, and will be made in an edition of, you guessed it, 23. To promote 6ft-6in, Grotesk and design agency, Doubleday & Cartwright, made an animated story about the lamp that lost its way.

Fresh off a late summer show at Known Gallery and various projects throughout the year, LA-based artist Steven Harrington is set to release a new porcelain sculpture with Belgium's Case Studyo this Friday, November 9. The special piece is made in an edition of 25.
